Services and departments
What is the difference?
Departments are the clinical areas you are seen in. Services are what you receive — a consultation, a test, a procedure or ongoing support.
A single visit often involves both. A child seen in pediatrics may also use laboratory and pharmacy services during the same appointment. You do not need to work out the distinction before booking — describe the problem and the team will direct you.
